My boss designed it, but I've built the site for his wife's Cafe and Deli in Glasgow's glamorous quayside. The only HTML wackiness is some amusing resurrection of some ancient HTML tags. Plus there's a HTML joke on the drinks menu page. It's not a good joke, but it's a joke nevertheless (the joke will be slightly more obviouse for Firefox users).
About one and a half years ago (see the story below, or in the archive, if you're reading in the future) I made a site for my mate Rob's company Nostromo. We've gone and rebuilt it, to reflect a slight change in focus of the company. Now I'd say they provide on-site recording of classical music, among other things. You should go have a look: there's lots of amusing CSS involved.
I asked my boss the other day who the ultimate human being is - the one we could legitimately describe as being the end process of millions of years of evolution.
"Stephen Segal", he answered without a moment's hesitation.
Let's just say I was busy in 2005, and leave it at that, shall we? I've done a page which simulates a table layout with a fixed right column, and produces a horizontal scroll bar, when needed. Perhaps you ought to have a look.
I've just checked the date I created the directory, and it says "September 2003" which means that I've spent over a year building my friend Rob's new site for his film production company, Nostromo. I guess I'm pretty pleased with the result, but a year is a long time - I'd probably do it slightly differently, if I could be bothered to rebuild it.
