This is stuff I needed to test in different browsers - not-quite supported CSS, for example. Is there a way for it to slip under the wire? For instance, (ab)using the a:hover selector in CSS can give you some JavaScript-like effects, but it won't work on IE4 or Netscape 4.
The same page also suggests that the hr tag cannot be more than about four pixels high. Strange.
